Santa Wine
What a great way to dress up a gift for the season. You can even use this for other drinks like soda, beer, or even try it on the glasses in your cabinet!

Avant-Garde Art and Craft Show
Yesterday was my first craft show and the first Avant-Garde Art and Craft show in Akron. It was at the Tangier and all in all it was a good day for me. I had a great experience with my husband and we had some great friends and family stop by and show their support.
There were some glitches which I think would be expected from all shows on their first year at a certain location. We lacked wifi in our spot but luckily it didn't cost me any sales. There were also some lighting issues in the other rooms, but I think they will have that all fixed by the Spring show.
I am very happy I participated and can't wait to do my next show. In the mean time I will be adding all my unsold items to my Etsy shop. I am still taking custom orders on scarves until this coming Friday the 7th for xmas. Unfortunately I will not be able to finish any afghans or larger items because of other larger orders in the que.
Please feel free to contact me if you have any questions about ordering my products or other services I have listed on my website.

Cinnamon Applesauce Heart Ornaments
These take me on a trip through memory lane. I remember making them when I was young (or watching my mom make them. I just can't remember if they were apart of girl scouts or just some craft we did at home.

Holiday Gift Guide

This Christmas selling season I have decided to poor more into my advertising and promotions. For a while I had been getting emails from the IndieBizChicks.com. This is a site that focuses on the business development of women. The majority of the women that follow this site are small business entrepreneurs.
I would definitely recommend this site to anyone interested in some tips from people who have been successful.
Every Christmas they put out a Holiday Gift Guide. This guide includes recipes, crafts, and a large list of sellers of handmade or small businesses. It is free to the public and is distributed to a wide market. Here is the link: http://indiebizchicks.com/
Have fun looking through it. I surely did. (my ads on page 20)

Getting Ready for Christmas

Christmas is getting closer and closer and the shopping season will be starting soon( if you haven't already). Getting my Etsy shop ready is at the top of my list of things to do. There are many things that I have been putting off but now the time has come for me to really get organized.
The following is a list of things that I need to complete before the official start of the shopping season.
1. Post all ornaments in my Etsy shop.
2. Re-take pictures of items that have been in my shop for a while.
3. Finish promotional items.
4. Update all adds on Project Wonderful.
5. Promote Promote Promote
Please check back to see how I am doing and to see my updated store!
