What do you do everyday that is green? : Don't have a car so we walk, use low energy
lights, buy as much local organic food as we can, use rechargable batteries, recycle household waste, reuse packaging materials and recycle repurpose as much as possible, have a lot of second hand furniture(
so do I!) and give unwanted clothes/furniture etc either to friends or local charity to redistribute rather than send to landfill ( I love donating; it's donating is good for the earth and the soul!).

I recycle EVERYTHING, do most of my shopping at secondhand stores and buy in bulk to reduce extra packaging.

Eco-friendly recycled plarn bagsChainmaille JewelryEco-friendly supplies (plarn)In my other shop, "aephemera" I sell my fine art and prints.http://aephemera.etsy.com

What makes your shop eco-friendly or organic based?

For my bags, I reuse plastic shopping bags to make "plarn" - plastic yarn (this is a great use of plastic grocery bags and it is very easy to work with). They're reinforced with yarn that I've received from people - stuff that was in the back of their closets that they never used. I put both clutter and "garbage" to use and make useful items from it!

What do you do everyday that is green?
I'm a vegetarian. I use twisty lightbulbs to save energy. I don't buy fast food. I shop at farmer's markets in the summer. I use baking soda solution and vinegar instead of shampoo and conditioner. I buy handmade soaps rather than the stuff you buy in the store. I shop as American-made and organic as possible(yay!). If it's yellow I let it mellow!

Favorite Book: Ishmael, by Daniel Quinn
Favorite Movie: Pink Floyd's The Wall (one on my favorites too!)
Favorite Color: Bright blue

Favorite item in your shop: I'm really a fan of the "Swank earrings".
