Call for Knitters and Crocheters!!!!

A friend of mine asked me to help her make scarves for her brother's unit. There are 55 men in the unit and only two of us. So I am asking anyone who has the time before January to make one or two scarves to please help.

The scarves must be made from non-synthetic materials, so things like wool, alpaca, bamboo. If you can donate your time and skill please contact me at and I will give you the address to mail them to. They ship out January 3rd so I will need them before that.

If you can they would really appreciate it!

This is a great thing! Unfortunately, I don't knit or crochet :( Keep up the good works though!

Hi there,
I saw you on the Etsy forums reg. donating a scarf. I have one I can part with. I made it about 1 year ago for my husband. He wore it once but it was too itchy for his sensitive skin. It's gray and I used a k2p2 rib pattern. It's really nice and I love it. Let me know where I should mail it to.

What a wonderful support.

I converse w/several as a dating and relationship coach, b/c, surprise, those who are married, being APART for so long is a unique strain on their romantic relationships.
